  I have worked all over japan and all over the world. I don't
  blame Japanese girls or foreigner guys. If both parties know
  this place is a meat market and still choose to go, maybe
  thats what they're looking for. Now I will be honest, the
  average japanese girl was raised different from stateside
  women and some guys will prey on their nice'ness. But if
  a man is a real man, it doesn't matter where you are or where
  you go, you should still know all ladies should be treated like
  ladies. Some guys come here and go crazy because they
  couldn't get girls in the states.

  I'd say everybody gets exactly what they want at Heartland.
  
  The guys are looking for some quick fun and somebody to keep them company for a couple hours at a nearby hotel.
  
  The women are looking for a quick fling with a rich guy so she can go back and tell her friends about visiting the kakkoii gaijin's suite room at the Hyatt.

  One of my female friends took me to heartland once and I hated it. the women prey on the men and vice versa. they are looking for rich guys so many men have fake cards made up and say they are rich to have sex with the women.

  Hum. I have to agree with Hanaluv box. Hate those kinda places. Probably full of freaks! So many in Japan!
  Yes, some girls are looking for that kinda cheap scene and some guys are only just looking for an easy target. The offer meets the demand I suppose.

  It is girls roaming for guys in Heartland with such a boring question -- " where do you work?" for starters...
  
  As they say... ( and this is not coming from me.. ) Japanese women are not good at small-talks, in this case, the very first portion of a convo with a guy in the bar..

  hana, allow me to disagree... at heartland, it's not girls getting hit on, but them roaming around for guys. Go there and have a beer with a mate, and they will come to you all by themselves - no pickup lines needed
  
  
  ... still their first question will be about where you work, so it all kind of doesn't matter in the end, as neither my own company nor my employer will ring any bells in their heads or make their juices run wild

  Man.. notorious Heartland.. I dont like that place because this is such meat market. Sad to see girls getting hit on and believe in sweet somethings coming out of a guy's mouth in seconds super easily... GAH. And those girls cry over my sholders how badly they were treated by guys in a bar like Heartland.. hello, you asked for it... And I realized... no wonder Japanese women are generally considered to be "cheap" overseas. It did not hit me until then.
  
  When I went to the bar with my friends for the first time, I was astonished by foreginers there approaching me with seriously cheesy pick-up lines. I once had to laugh at a few guy who were coming onto me and said, " Is this supposed to be your pick-up line? Man.. so fucking cheap. Go away and brush it up more and come back to me, then I will consider." I was told "what a bitch." but I did not even care... I was not there to get laid anyway and I am usually interested in a guy who can talk good. The Inspring conversation is like foreplay leading up the actual act.. aht that is sexy.. Actually I thought, having just returend from SF, men over there were so much better than those Heartland get-laid wannabes in terms of conversations and treating girls.. My American female-friend also from Cali said that guys in Heartland are pathetic..
