Clovelly Beach, and neighbouring Gordon's Bay are well worth a visit if you are ever in Sydney and looking for a nice place to laze about in the sun and/or maybe have a BBQ not far from the water.

Awesome restaurant. Disturbingly expensive, but the food is fantastic, the people are friendly and the area is lovely.

If your in Sydney for a holiday....your more then likely staying at a hotel in the city so Manly is the best beach to goto cos it's the only beach you can goto by ferry..... great beach....but if you want a quite and good beach possibly walk along the coastline up north.......the beach one north of ... more

A fun Irish pub in The Rocks. I went there several times and the place was so crowded that we had to drink our pints of Guiness outside !

QVB is the most beautful mall in the world.

An excellent record shop (well, 3 actually). They have a huge selection of good music, new and used.

It's a bar in an old firehouse (no pole though) with a lot of style but little substance. Nice location (right next to work) and comfy couches to rest upon. Way too busy on a Friday night, but great for beers with honours supervisors on a Monday.

Probably the best pub I have been to. The drinks are awesome, the live music is awesome and the Aussie hospitality is second to none. I met some really wonderful people there too.
