  oh yes...'Same Same But Different' restaurant serves mean authentic thai cuisine, you will get to savour all the spice and lingering gastronomical experience only in this restaurant.
  
  Why? I have tried several thai restaurants and cafes in Koh Lanta ( in and out of new town Saladan) but most cater to the tourists' non-spicy palate, therefore the spice flavourings are muted.
  
  This restaurant is also recommended by my Thai friend from Bangkok. It is situated on the beach next to the five star Pimalai Spa Resort. The restaurant uses natural log wood for furniture, sand in your toes concept, with interesting large handmade illuminated rattan lamps, wrapped in dyed cloth hanging high up on wooden poles which sway with the breeze in the evening....very surreal and romantic dining under those coloured shadows.
  
  so, looking for spicy and great thai cuisine? check it out .... same same dishes but slightly different.
