I was in Shinjuku Gyoen on Saturday (07 April). The sakura were still on most of the trees. Many people we out walking around, taking photos, and having Hanami Parties. We sat under a beautiful tree and enjoyed a wonderful bottle of California Syrah with our food. This was my first time enjoying the sakura in Japan and having a picnic on a sunny spring day. It was such a awesome and memoriable experience!

If I was going that weekend that would be fun to meet you too. I'll probably have a better chance of hanging out in Chicago, since I go there more often. I am going to Tokyo in 2 days though... ;) Can't wait!
