Just wondering if anyone uses either of these?

From what I gather, Scratch Live has much better responsiveness. My friend is a hip hop / scratch DJ and swears by Serrato as do many other big name DJ's.

Final scratch has gotten better in terms of responsiveness, but has still had the occasional issue with synching. Final scratch uses Traktor as its software tho - and I'm a bit partial to Native Instruments stuff.

I'm probably gonna get Serrato - mainly so I can play CD's without forking over loads for decent CDJ decks. And I can still keep the good old vinyl feel.

Just wondering if anyone had any thoughts on them... Cheers.

  • i like kentaro. i like the guy playing his stings alongside. but for me they dont quite flow. maybe not enough jam time together? or maybe nerves due to playing in front of an invisible audience? (TV plus studio audience who are all prob sitting down)

  • Lazarus Walks says: yeah, that's talent man
But DJs have got to watch it; there are guitar virtuosos who rely on their speed to be impressive but musically are really boring. DJs like him can easily fall into the same category...

    The talent is undeniable though...

hella-sweet or uber-boring? DMC world champion Kentaro is super dope... but i seriously could not watch more than 4 mins of this... and that type of stuff used to be my thing...
