Description

I love English teas, especially 'Yorkshire Tea' and 'Whittard'.

Having a cup of tea makes me feel better and can make a moment better.

Do you have any favorite teas?

This is an excellent strong tea. Fortnum's is a great place to browse for tea and other tasty treats. I also recommend the Queen Anne blend for a less robust brew.

Tea - the drink that refreshes but does not inebriate. It never fails to bring a glow to my cheeks!

Seriously you guys! How can you think those pre-packaged "English" teas are the best?! Honestly, its like saying that Mac D's does the best burgers! Sure, they're OK, and I agree certain teas need milk but there is so much out there! Before you ask, yes, I'm British!

For me nothing comes close to Lapsang Soushong from Boston Tea Party in Bristol. I've tried other 'Lapsangs' from elsewhere but they don't come close. I'm a big fan of Chinese teas, but if I had to choose and 'English' tea blend it'd have to be Earl Grey

Me and a friend totally love the Orange Spice tea they served up in TGI Friday by the London Tea Company.

BUT we can find it in the shops anywhere!
Does anyone know where to buy it?
I don't want to have to hang out in TFI just to get it!!

Tetley/PG tips have to be the best (and most popular) blended teas.
Despite most people being drawn to Darjeeling I personally think Assam and Ceylon are the best (I think these are the 2 most used in blended teas)

But I just discovered "Janat" Ceylon for sale in boxes of 100 bags almost opposite my house. Very useful seeing as I drink 6-8 cups of tea a day at work (doing my best to keep the image of the English being obsessed with tea).

I'll post the name of the shop and maybe a piccy of the box when the shopping centre is open
(it's 4.30 am and I can't sleep with back pain again...)

I am a huge fan of English teas, especially Yorkshire Tea in the morning and Twinings Earl Grey in the afternoon. But I don't know aht kind of water is Japanese water? In England we have soft and hard water and Yorkshire Tea makes two kinds of tea for each water. Which should I be using? Help!
